Equipped with Rotobec’s own high pressure cylinders, robust interlocking head structure and our RT-Series watertight rotators, it is no wonder that the Rotobec Log Grapple has been out-lifting, out-lasting and out-performing the competition for decades.

Easy Rolling

ADVANCED JAW SHAPE

Rotobec Log Grapples feature a unique shape that allows wood to easily roll up the inner surface of the jaw. This feature allows material handler operators to achieve a round bunch every time, no matter how crooked the wood may be. Increase your efficiency and out-lift the competition every time.

CDS Technology Cylinder

SELF CONTAINED HYDRAULICS

Logging is no place for the weak. The threat of damaged cylinders and hoses is a common and costly problem that can quickly bring your entire operation to a grinding halt. In order to protect your most precious asset, we have designed a cylinder that has revolutionized the logging industry. Our new CDS Technology cylinder offered on the HD & SHD lines, contains an internal hydraulic channel that eliminates the need for a return hose. This self-contained system provides you with a cylinder that is better protected and more durable than any other option on the market.

THE ROTOBEC GRAPPLE SAW

GIVING NEW MEANING TO THE WORD “MULTITASKING” ONE LOG AT A TIME

Rotobec has partnered with Hultdins to offer our forestry equipment customers with an unbeatable one-two punch. The addition of a saw adds an element of versatility to the already unstoppable Rotobec Log Grapple. These amazing saws are available with a .404 and a .750 pitch and can be fitted to both the Heavy Duty and Super Heavy Duty series grapples. Remove the human element and increase your operation’s efficiency immediately with this log chopping beast.

The King of Rotators

WE’RE CALLED ROTO-BEC FOR A REASON

For the last 40 years, Rotobec has been pushing the boundaries of innovation in the world of rotator design. The rotators on our Log Grapples are no exception. In addition to standard 3600 rotation and a fully supported pinion gear, all of our rotations are fully sealed, allowing them to be fully submersed in up to 15 feet of water. Our rotators are without a doubt the most advanced and longest lasting ever made. Why settle for anything but the best?

Easy on - Easy off

BRUSH RAKE ATTACHMENT

Our Log Grapples are available with a brush rake attachment that is ideal for easy clean up without the need for an additional grapple. Its bolt-on design makes it incredibly easy to attach and remove from your grapple. It comes complete with a convenient stand for storage when it ‘s not being used.

A GRAPPLE DESIGNED TO TAKE A BEATING

Milton Cat not only offers their Caterpillar line of machinery, engines and power generation equipment, they also offer a wide range of various other equipment and grapples, including Rotobec’s line-up of grapples. Many of their customers require specialized designs and attachments in order to work their best in varying conditions and applications. Milton CAT trusts the team at Rotobec for their custom builds and to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of their customers and deliver high performing, tough handling equipment every time. The customer needed a log grapple that was able to perform its best while handling materials and rocks within a quarry.

INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY WITH THE TOUGHEST LOG GRAPPLES AROUND

With Rotobec’s custom design team working together with Milton CAT, we were able to design a custom 4560SHD QUARRY Log Grapple. This grapple is capable of withstanding the extreme conditions of quarry applications. Critical parts of the grapple were built to increase rigidity and durability, and prevent wear to the grapple when handling rocks and materials in the quarry. This allowed the customer to reduce downtime in the quarry, not having to deal with damaged equipment, and dramatically increased the productivity on the job sites.
